Therapy for Babies, Children & Young People

Children’s Therapy Services offers Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology services for babies, children, teenagers and young people (0- 25 years old) with developmental, behavioural, neurological, and orthopaedic needs as well as providing assessments for continuing treatment.

Our paediatric therapists have post-graduate qualifications, training, and skills to assess and provide individualised treatment plans to meet your child’s needs.

There is no need for a doctor’s referral to make an appointment.

Family Centred Practice

We work in partnership with families and highly value the opinions and needs of the whole family; family centred practice is an integral part of how we work with children and their families.

We believe that parent interaction is also central to helping your child. We want to involve you in managing and assisting your child’s development and meeting their needs by advising you of ways to handle, play and support your child.

In some cases, we may give advice or prescribe equipment that will be helpful for your child.

We can also provide information to assist you in understanding the additional needs or medical condition your child has, and ways to assist them in everyday tasks, sports and other activities.

Consultation

Our team can also work in consultation and partnership with kinder, schools, doctors, specialists, other health professionals and services providers as needed.
